Individual Counseling

The Counselor begins Individual Counseling by establishing a trusting relationship so the child can express themselves.  When the child can openly express themselves they have an avenue to process their experience which can result in awareness, healing and personal growth. 

Family Support

The well being of the whole family is vital to the child's personal growth.  Family Support focuses on the needs of the family and assists parents in understanding their child in this context.  The counselor may help to clarify roles in the family structure or hone the parent's skills to nurture and set boundaries.  

Care Coordination

Care Coordination is used to address the unmet needs of the child by linking them with other professionals.  The Counselor also provides Crises Support by making themselves available to the child or parent in situations when timely consultation is needed.
